Ranbir Kapoor is gearing up for the release of his next, Jagga Jasoos. The film is special for him since this is also his debut as a producer. He has produced the film jointly with director Anurag Basu under their production house, Pictureshuru Productions.
However, even before the release of his first production, he has decided to hang his boots as a producer. Kapoor has revealed that Jagga Jasoos is his first and last film as a producer.
Speaking to a publication, he said, “I have realised it’s not my cup of tea. This is my first and last film as a producer. I am happy being an actor. I am lazy and don’t think I am cut out to be a filmmaker. I am glad, though, that I have been credited as producer for Jagga Jasoos.”
In other words, Pictureshuru has become picture khatam (over) even before the release.
The film, which also stars Katrina Kaif in a pivotal role, has been facing obstacles ever since it went on the floors. Kapoor believes that everyone is to be blamed for the numerous delays. “None of us knew that the film would take so much time. I think it's everyone's mistake and we are all to be blamed for the delay,” he added.
