From John Abraham and Hrithik Roshan to Aamir Khan, from Aishwarya to Katrina, Yash Raj Films goes all out to parody their Dhoom franchise for Bank Chor.

Given the controversies, sants and sadhus (saints and sages) no longer enjoy a clean reputation. Riteish Deshmukh and Yash Raj Films are now cashing in on the infamy earned by these sages.
The producers are sportingly making a mockery of their most celebrated franchise, Dhoom, to promote their upcoming, Bank Chor. The makers have released a new quirky song 'Jai Baba Bank Chor' that sees Champak Chiplunkar (Deshmukh), masquerading as a bearded sage who forces his way into many scenes from the three Dhoom films.
The music and melody seems secondary as you track Champak Chiplunkar and his accomplices finding their way into the many Dhoom clippings.
John Abraham had played the thief in Dhoom (2004), while Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan played the cerebral thieves in Dhoom 2 (2006) and Dhoom 3 (2013), respectively. Not just fellow thieves, Bank Chor Champak is also seen mingling with the franchise’s resident cops — Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra.
Even the Dhoom leading ladies Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Katrina Kaif get a dose of Bank Chor. In short, Baba Bank Chor is omnipresent in the Dhoom franchise. The parody has you in splits, making it difficult to attentively listen to the lyrics.
From Rajini to Dracula, lovers of Mahatma Gandhi to Bill and Hillary Clinton, lyricist Gautam Govind Sharma has incorporated a variety of words and important figures into his song, but the lyrics blend wonderfully with the rollicking music by Rochak Kohli.
While Deshmukh has truly got into the skin of 'Baba Bank Chor', singer Nakash Aziz doesn’t disappoint. The mash-up of words is not easy, but the masti is reflected in Aziz’s voice. The introduction of Baba Bank Chor reminds listeners of Mawwali Bhai — a popular voice character from a Mumbai radio station.
'Jai Baba Bank Chor' is a laughter riot, that shouldn't be missed. Bank Chor will be released on 16 June.
