The latest poster from Apoorva Lakhia's upcoming biopic has a few surprises in store. The film has now been renamed, Haseena Parkar, from its original title, Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai. The poster was released by its lead actress Shraddha Kapoor on her Twitter today.

The actress initially put it up on her Twitter page, but immediately took it off. However, it did not escape the attention of her fans and followers on Twitter.

The poster features a veiled Shraddha, who plays Haseena Parkar, in the film standing out in a crowd of people. The actress's searing gaze burning through an otherwise scratched, rough poster is impossible to miss. The tagline above the poster, '88 cases registered, but present in court only once,' underlines the deadly control and power exercised by Haseena Parkar as the most powerful female ganglord in the city of Mumbai.

Yet, it is not the only one. The most notable change in the poster is that of its title. Lakhia's film was initially titled Haseena: The Queen of Mumbai. However, this recent poster carries the full name of its central protagonist, Haseena Parkar, leaving no room for doubt on whom it is based.

On Saturday, Lakhia had tweeted a still from the film of Shraddha's Haseena with Ibrahim Parkar, played by actor Ankur Bhatia. Lakhia wrote '@ShraddhaKapoor @AnkBhatia @haseenamovie @SiddhanthKapoor she can romance too, especially when the light is perfect.'

Haseena Parkar also stars Siddhanth Kapoor as Dawood Ibrahim, Haseena's brother. Siddhant and Shraddha are real life siblings too. The film is scheduled to be released theatrically on 18 August.
