Arjun Kapoor aka Karan and Charan to present Mubarakan trailer on 14 June

The is Anil Kapoor's fifth film with Anees Bazmee.

The first trailer of Anees Bazmee’s Mubarakan is all set to release on 14 June. This was announced by the makers today. The film stars Arjun Kapoor in a double role for the second time after Aurangzeb (2013). It will be the first time that he will be seen sharing screen space with his uncle and veteran actor Anil Kapoor.

A new poster of the film has just been released. It has Arjun in two avatars - one with a Sikh turban and one without. The image shows Sardar Arjun's cheeks being pulled by the other one.

The poster of Mubarakan makes it clear that the film aims to be a fun entertainer, and so do the names of the two characters - Karan and Charan.

Arjun had earlier mentioned in an interview that Karan and Charan are brothers and will be seen together extensively in the film with the help of CGI, unlike most other films featuring a double role.

The London Eye (giant wheel) in the background, is an obvious reference to England's capital city where a large portion of the film was shot.

Apart from Arjun and Anil Kapoor, Mubarakan stars Ileana D’Cruz, Neha Sharma and Athiya Shetty.

This is the fifth time that Bazmee is working with Anil Kapoor after No Entry (2005), Welcome (2007), No Problem (2010) and Welcome Back (2015). The filmmaker’s last hit was Ready (2011).
