Bhoomi poster: Sanjay Dutt is bloody, but intense in new poster from Omung Kumar's film

After the teaser poster of Omung Kumar's upcoming Bhoomi, created such a buzz, it is time for the first poster of the film to repeat it. The poster was released today morning, on the occassion of its lead, Sanjay Dutt's birthday.

The poster features the bloodied face of Dutt armed with an feral intensity. The intense, brooding eyes of the actor only add to the viciousness of the wounds littered all over his face. The poster hints at the struggle, and battle that faces Dutt in this film.

Speaking about the film, director Omung Kumar says, "When the teaser poster came, I had said that people will want to know more & more and this poster is testimony to Sanjay's amazing way of transforming and portraying different characters & intensity."

Producer Bhushan Kumar adds, "This poster is just a slice of the magic of Snajay Dutt and the intensity of his role in Bhoomi."

Bhoomi is reportedly based on the close bond of a father and his daughter, Bhoomi,  played by Aditi Rao Hydari in the film. The film will also see Shekhar Suman and Sharad Kelkar in pivotal roles. Shot extensively in Agra, the film is said to be an emotional and sensitive revenge drama.

Bhoomi is directed by Omung Kumar, and jointly produced by T-Series and Legend Studios. The film is set to release in theatres on 22 September.
