Actor Inder Kumar dies at 43 of a heart attack

The actor was close to Salman Khan and starred with him in quite a few films. 

Hindi film actor Inder Kumar died early today, at around 2 am, of a heart attack. The actor suffered the heart attack in his sleep at his residence in Mumbai. He was only 43 years old.

Inder Kumar entered Hindi films in the 1990s with director Mahesh Kothare's Masoom (1996). The film is known for its famous children's song ‘Chhota bachcha jaan ke humko na samjhana re.’ He also gained some fame in his second film, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi (1996), where he played Akshay Kumar’s younger brother. 

His film Ghoonghat (1997) is also known for another kids’ song, ‘Apun Ka Hotel Hai Mobile’. He starred in more than 20 films. Some of the prominent ones are Tirchhi Topiwale (1998), Kunwara (2000), and Maa Tujhe Salaam (2002). 

Inder Kumar was close to superstar Salman Khan and was seen with him in films like Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaye (2000), Tumko Na Bhool Payenge (2002) and Wanted (2009). 

He was currently shooting for director Prem M Girdhanie's Phati Padi Hai Yaar.

His cremation will take place in Mumbai today.
