Abduction case: Cops question Dileep's wife Kavya Madhavan

Sources say that the police, at this point, are tight-lipped about whether they believe Kavya too could have been an accomplice in the crime.

Even as actor Dileep continues to appeal in court after court seeking bail in the case pertaining to the kidnap and sexual assault of a popular south Indian actress, the Kerala police interrogated his wife, actress Kavya Madhavan, at his ancestral home in Aluva.

Sources in the industry said that a team led by ADGP Sandhya interrogated the actress for several hours. Questions, sources claim, revolved around the cellphone that was used to shoot pictures of the crime and the memory card in which the videos and pictures of the assault were stored.

It may be recalled that the main suspect in the case, Pulsar Suni, had allegedly confessed to the police that he had handed over the memory card to a person working at Kavya's boutique Laksyah.

Sources say that the police, at this point, are tight-lipped about whether they believe Kavya too could have been an accomplice in the crime.

Industry sources say that the actress could be summoned for more rounds of questioning.
