Dhanush, who is prepping for release of Vellai Illa Pattadhari 2 (VIP 2), which releases this Friday (28 July), says that he will never bulk up like Baahubali star Prabhas.
"No, (pointing to his body) this is my strength. We are here right now, and if you step out and take a walk on the road, you can see 100 people like me. They all relate with me. I am their representative," said Dhanush.
The actor says his common yet unique (by Bollywood standards) looks is also the reason why he is picky when it comes to doing Hindi films. After making a smashing Hindi film debut with Raanjhanaa in 2013, he has done only one other film in the language so far — Shamitabh (2015).
"As you can see I have a unique way of looking. So I have to really choose my roles. I know my strengths but I know my weaknesses also. So I have to wait for the right script to do justice to the film and box office as well. So I'm waiting, says Dhanush, adding, "I will be doing something (in Hindi) very soon."
The actor also confirms that he has finalised one film already. "I will be doing Aanand L Rai's next after the Shah Rukh Khan film," he said.
