Bhoomi poster: Sanjay Dutt's bleeding visage dominates 2nd poster of Omung Kumar's film

While the whole world is getting excited about Sanjay Dutt's biopic starring Ranbir Kapoor, the actor himself has been quietly working away on Omung Kumar's Bhoomi. The second poster of the film was released today, and features a glimpse of the actor's bleeding visage.

While the film is being marked out as Dutt's comeback after his prison sentence, the story itself deals with the complexities of a father-daughter relationship.

Aditi Rao Hydari plays the daughter of Dutt in the film. The poster, however, reveals little about the film apart from the bloody nature of its tale. Featuring the looming visage of a bleeding mouth, that belongs to Dutt. The blood red is the only colour in a largely grayscale poster. The face hovers over the landscape of the architectural marvels of Fatehpur Sikri, a sign of the film's setting in Agra.

Director Omung Kumar had mentioned during the film's initial announcements that it would be a 'revenge drama'. The film is being made under the banner of Bhushan Kumar's T-Series, Sandeep Singh and Kumar's own Legend Studios.

Bhoomi is set to be released on 22 September.
