Lucknow Central first look: Farhan Akhtar nails look of Bhojpuri inmate

Apart from Yash Raj Films' Qaidi Band, Indian audiences will welcome another 'jail house rock' drama in Farhan Akhtar's Lucknow Central. The makers of Lucknow Central launched the first poster revealing Akhtar's look. 

The actor shared the poster on Twitter:

Akhtar, largely known for playing urban characters (Karthik Calling Karthik, Rock On!, Rock On 2, Dil Dhadakne Do, to name a few), plays a Bhojpuri inmate named Kishan Mohan Girhotra. Akhtar nails the look of a Bhojpuri man with a greasy hairdo, tilak on the forehead and tanned skin.

Director Ranjit Tiwari has given Akhtar an authentic look. 

The film also stars Ronit Roy, Deepak Dobriyal and Diana Penty. Lucknow Central is set to be released on 15 September.
