Difficult times continue to persist for actor Dileep, who has been arrested for a case filed in connection with the kidnapping and sexual assualt of a popular south Indian actress, as the Kerala high court too today turned down his plea for bail.

Sources say that the court turned down the actor's bail plea on the grounds that prima facie, there was enough evidence to suspect Dileep's involvement in the crime and that if released on bail, he could influence or threaten witnesses associated in the case.

The court also took into account the fact that the mobile that was used to record the crime and the memory card which contains the visuals are yet to be recovered by the police. The court felt that the memory card was a potential threat to the victim's life and that there was every chance that the suspect could use it to interfere with the investigation of the case.

Now, after having been denied bail by an Anagamaly court and the high court, Dileep will have to approach the Supreme Court for bail.
