While she has a knack for picking versatile roles, Richa Chadha is set to explore an unknown side of her personality. Chadha is set to be part of a reality show for female comics on television. The collaboration will see her join stand-up comics, Rohan Joshi and Kaneez Surka, in the search for female comedians on television.
While Joshi, who is a part of the comedy group AIB and Surka, one of India's pioneering female comedians, are popular names on the comedy circuit, the presence of Chadha on the show might come as a surprise.
The show, produced and telecast on TLC, is being called an official hunt to find 'India's next big female comedian'. The actors will begin shooting for the show in August.
However, despite the surprise Chadha has previously showcased her comic timing in films like Fukrey (2013) and Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! (2008). The actress is looking forward to replicate the performance in the sequel Fukrey Returns, which will be released later this year.
