The actor was recently challenged by a Tamil Nadu state minister to 'enter politics', and his latest tweets hint at his inclination towards the same.

Actor Kamal Haasan, late on Tuesday night, tweeted a Tamil poem that has now left many in the state wondering if he plans to join politics. Industry sources have already predicted that Rajinikanth is likely to start his own party and enter politics later this year.
Haasan has, for the last few days, been under constant pressure with his name being dragged into one controversy or the other.
Last week, the Hindu Makkal Katchi, a fringe outfit, lodged a police complaint against Bigg Boss, a television show hosted by Haasan. The party claimed that the show was destroying Indian culture and tradition, and demanded that the actor and all the participants in the show be arrested.
Even as Haasan hit back, another controversy erupted with the National Women's Commission announcing that it intended to send a notice to the actor demanding an explanation from him for naming, and thereby identifying, a victim of sexual assault during a press conference.
It was not the only issue Haasan was dealing with. A senior minister in the Tamil Nadu government took offence to Haasan's allegations of corruption in government departments. D Jayakumar, minister of state for finance and fishing (Tamil Nadu) claimed that the actor was indulging in mudslinging against the government and added that they would not keep quiet about it.
He also said that Haasan must enter politics, "if he had the guts".
A day after the Tamil Nadu finance minister made this statement, Haasan tweeted,
"Idithuraippom Yaarum Ini Mannar Illai
Thuditheluvom Manadhalavil Umpol Yaam
Mannarillai
Thotruirundhal Poraali
Mudiveduthaal Yaam Mudhalvar
Adipanivor Adimayaro?
Mudithuranthor Thotravaro?
Poda Mooda Enalam Adhu Thavaru
Thedaa Paathaigal Thenpadaa.
Vaada Thozha Ennudan
Moodamai Thavirkka Munaivarae Thalaivar
Anbudan

The poem, when translated means, "Let us forcefully state that nobody is king. In my heart, I rise swiftly, I am not a king like you. If I have lost, I am a fighter. If I make a decision, I am the chief minister. Are those who obey, slaves? Are those who give up the crown, losers? Get away moron could be said. But that would be wrong. Those paths which aren't searched for will never be found. Come along with me my friend. He who looks to shun foolishness is the leader.
With Love,
Me."
The tweet, needless to say, has got everybody's attention making many wonder if whether Kamal is tweeting his intention to enter politics.
Currently, the actor is preparing for the release of his upcoming film, Vishwaroopam 2.
