Qaidi Band: First poster of Aadar Jain and Anya Singh's debut film released

The film, titled Qaidi Band, is written and directed by Habib Faisal.

Days after the 'Nepotism Rocks' quote hit headlines, Yash Raj Films released the first poster of Aadar Jain and Anya Singh's debut film, Qaidi Band. The first poster of the film shows the two debutantes posing inside a jail courtyard, all ready to play some music.

The poster was shared on Twitter by Yash Raj Films' official handle on Tuesday morning. The film is written and directed by Habib Faisal, and produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films. Faisal's last directorial venture was the Aditya Roy Kapur-Parineeti Chopra starrer, Daawat-e-Ishq (2014).

The tagline of the film reads 'Music will set them free' a clear implication towards the pivotal role of music in the film. The film is expected to release on 25 August. The trailer for the film will be released later today.

The second poster shows the duo posing with the other members of the band joining them. The grunge look, and the sepia tint works to the advantage of the poster.

Earlier in the month, a special event was held by Yash Raj Films, with Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma introducing the newcomers to the media. Aadar, the son of Raj Kapoor's daughter, Rima Jain, is the fifth Kapoor grandchild to make his entry into Hindi cinema.
