However, the young actor saw more privilege in shaking a leg with his childhood hero, Salman Khan. The two performed on the latter’s iconic ‘Tan Tana Tan Tan Tan Tara’ from Judwaa (1997) at the awards ceremony on Sunday (16 July).

Varun expressed his joy on his Instagram page. He shared an image from the performance and wrote, “As a child I had seen Salman bhai perform live many times but I had never ever dreamt that one day I would dance besides him. Thank you for the love ny #onelove.”

Incidentally, Varun would be essaying Khan’s dual role in the remake of Judwaa. In fact, Khan will be seen doing a cameo in the film that has been titled Judwaa 2. Like the first film, the sequel will also be directed by Varun’ father David Dhawan.

Judwaa 2 it set to be released on 29 September.
