Anushka Sharma gives IIFA Awards a miss, holidays with Virat Kohli

While the Hindi film industry gathered in New Jersey's Metlife stadium for the 18th IIFA Awards, Anushka Sharma was enjoying a quiet holiday in New York.
The actress was clicked by fans walking side by side with India's cricket captain, Virat Kohli. The pictures show Sharma and Kohli getting some shopping done, while catching up some sights of New York City.
Having returned from his tour of the West Indies, the Indian cricket captain seems to have taken some time off from his ongoing controversy with the coach selections. Ever the gentleman, Kohli was seen helping Sharma out with some shopping while they enjoyed their day off.
The actress seems to have given the IIFA Awards the miss, despite receiving a nomination for Best Actress for Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
Interestingly, in her own profile on Instagram, the actress did not put up any pictures of Kohli.
The actress is currently preparing for the release of Imtiaz Ali's Jab Harry Met Sejal on 4 August. The actress will also be seen in her own production, Pari, on 9 February next year.
