The actor expressed his displeasure at not winning the Best Actor Award for M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Given his portrayal of cricket star Mahendra Singh Dhoni, actor Sushant Singh Rajput had a good chance of winning the Best Actor Award for M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016) at the recently concluded IIFA Awards. However, Shahid Kapoor bagged the trophy for his performance in Udta Punjab (2016).
Following this, Rajput’s stint on his Twitter page came as a complete surprise. The actor tagged IIFA on Twitter and laughed off the entire award ceremony. He simply wrote, “@IIFA hahahaha.”

This was enough to make a lot of heads turn on the social networking site. While some were confused by Rajput's tweet, others read the meaning behind it and trolled the actor. It is not often that a star openly expresses his displeasure at an awards jury for not winning an award.
Rajput's co-star in M.S. Dhoni, Disha Patani, however, won the award for Star Debut Of The Year (Female).
Surprisingly, Aamir Khan’s Dangal was not nominated under any of the main categories. The film received positive word-of-mouth and also became the biggest Hindi blockbuster ever. The Nitesh Tiwari-directed film earned close to Rs2,000 crore worldwide.
Sounds like sarcasm ðÂÂÂ
