The Padmavati actor posted a series of tweets sharing the process of him getting a new look with the full beard giving way to a thick stubble.

Ranveer Singh is one of the most social media friendly actors in Bollywood. In a new series of tweets, the actor has shared a video of him getting his beard pruned for his role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati.
Singh had grown the beard to play the adult Alauddin Khilji and has now trimmed it to play a young Khilji in the same film. Padmavati is a period drama based on the life of Rani Padmini. Singh will be seen in a negative role for the first time in the film.

Padmavati also stars Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapooor and Aditi Rao Hydari. The film is scheduled to be released on 17 November.
