Deepika Padukone bags 3 nominations at Teen Choice Awards

Deepika Padukone’s Hollywood debut, xXx: Return Of Xander Cage, might have not fared well at the box office, but she and her fans now have reason to celebrate. The actress has received not one, but three nominations at the Teen Choice Awards 2017. 

The three categories under which Padukone has been nominated are Choice Breakout Movie Star, Choice Movie Ship and Choice Female Hottie. Other actors to be nominated in the Breakout Movie Star category are Auli’i Cravalho for Moana, Harry Styles for Dunkirk, Janelle Monae for Hidden Figures, Tom Holland for Spider-Man Homecoming and Zandaya, also for Spider-Man. 

Priyanka Chopra, Deepika's counterpart, is also nominated this year in the Choice Movie Villain category for her performance in her Hollywood debut, Baywatch. 

Reportedly, Padukone is also part of the sequel of DJ Caruso's xXx: Return Of Xander Cage.

The Teen Choice Awards will be held on 31 July in Los Angeles.
