The actress-producer has already shortlisted some scripts for the project.

Priyanka Chopra's mother and managing director of Purple Pebble Pictures, Dr Madhu Chopra, has revealed that Priyanka will be producing a Hollywood film soon. The film is slated to go off the floors by the end of 2017. Details of the film, however, have been kept under wraps.
Dr Madhu said, “When Priyanka set up her own banner, the idea was to provide privilege to those who don't have the edge. We have three vernacular productions releasing this year. Though Priyanka Chopra would have wanted to produce a Bollywood film first, she would kick-start her Hollywood production by the end of the year.”
She also revealed that Priyanka is interested in stories about women and people of colour in the West, hinting at the atmosphere in the US after Donald Trump took over the presidency. “Right now, their political climate is such that there is more scope for such stories. It’s the right time to take the plunge,” she added.
The Quantico actress has already selected a few stories. “Priyanka has shortlisted a few stories. Her work process is thorough. She works and reworks the drafts till she is fully satisfied. She has recommended a few plot changes,” Dr Madhu informed a publication.
Priyanka's Marathi production, Kaay Re Rascalaa, will hit the theatres this Friday, 14 July.
