Katrina Kaif has seldom opened up about her life before she entered Bollywood. So when a throwback picture surfaces, it is bound to create curiosity among fans.
It is no ordinary picture though as Kaif and other Indian models are seen posing with former Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi. Model Shamita Singha recently posted the picture stating it to be a 'privilege' meeting Gaddafi. However, the post was not appreciated and soon went viral. Singha deleted the post soon after.
This Twitter account is among the many that tweeted about the picture:

Besides Kaif and Singha, Neha Dhupia, Aditi Govitrikar and Aanchal Kumar are also seen posing with the late Libyan dictator 15 years ago. The girls are said to have walked the ramp at a fashion show in Libya.
The controversial former Libyan leader was known for his colorful life of having female security guards. However, the time this picture was taken Gaddafi was not considered a villain. The Libyan dictator, captured and killed in 2011 by National Trasitional Council forces, was accused of human rights violations including alleged rape, extrajudicial killings, ethnic cleansing, misconduct and bombings of civilians.
