Parmanu first look: Diana Penty looks like a determined soldier

The first look of Diana Penty from director Abhishek Sharma’s Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran is out. The still from the film also tells us that she plays a soldier in the film, which has John Abraham in the lead. 

The picture shows Penty walking in a determined manner in the army uniform. She has a serious, but calm look on her face as she looks sideways. Going by the background, which is not in focus, it seems she is standing in the middle of a war zone. An army camp and an army jeep, with a couple of people on it, can also be seen. 

The makers have blurred the name plate from the actress’s uniform. After knowing her name in the film we will get to know the reason for hiding it. 

It is difficult to imagine Penty in the role of a soldier. But as she did show a lot of energy in her last film, Happy Bhag Jayegi (2016), one can hope she pulls it off in the film. 

Recently, the makers had released Abraham's first look from the film. He too plays a soldier. Parmanu is also his own production. 

This is the first time that Sharma will be trying his hand at a serious subject. He has so far made films like Tere Bin Laden (2010), The Shaukeens (2014) and Tere Bin Laden: Dead Of Alive (2016). 

Parmanu is set to be released next year.
