The shine of Tubelight seems to be fading fast. On its second Friday, the film managed a meagre Rs2 crore nett at the box office according to BoxOfficeIndia.com. This takes the overall collection of the film to Rs105 crore approximate.
While the film's performance at the box office has been dismal, it has still managed to touch the 'Rs100-crore' mark. However, this might prove inadequate to save the producer from heavy losses.
The film's budget totals to around Rs100 crore, excluding star Salman Khan's fees. This has led to some serious problems for distributors. As of yesterday, theatres have also cut down on screens for the film.
