Parineeti Chopra has stepped out of the Yash Raj Films banner after taking up Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Again.

It's no secret that Chopra has been eyeing other non-Yash Raj banner films too when it was rumoured that the actress could star in Queen (2014) director Vikas Bahl's upcoming project.

Plus, she was also tipped to join Akshay Kumar in Namastey England. These rumours gained credence after Chopra was pictured with Bahl outside a restaurant in suburban Bandra. The Meri Pyaari Bindu (2017) actress, though, has categorically denied being part of the Bahl film, but stayed mum on the Namastey England rumours.

"It’s not true. Nowadays whenever we meet in Bandra for lunch, people think we will come out only after signing the film. But it doesn’t work like that. I just went to meet Vikas for some other work. But I believe he is starting his film and I wish him all the best," Chopra told reporters at a media event.

Chopra was, however, non-committal on whether she was doing Namastey England with Akshay Kumar.

"I am going to announce my next film next week. Apart from Golmaal 4, that's the one film I am doing,” she said.

Interestingly, Sonakshi Sinha had tweeted last year that she had signed for Namastey England. Sinha has so far not commented whether she is still part of Namastey England.
