Aamir Khan's Dangal has already crossed the Rs600 crore mark in worldwide earnings, and is set to overthrow PK as the highest grossing Indian film of all time.

Nobody does box-office like Aamir Khan. Khan's Dangal has now crossed Rs333.63 crore in nett earnings on its 17th day, making it the highest earning Indian film at the box-office ever. Incidentally, it was Khan-starrer PK that set the record in the first place with Rs337.72 crore in 2014.
This is also the best fastest film to make the mark in 17 days. The film had earned Rs295 crore by the second weekend, standing on the threshold of the record. Since then, the film managed to rake in Rs39.75 crore in the third weekend. This is the highest returns for a film in the third weekend since PK (Rs26.75 crore).

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Dangal has now managed to score Rs448 crore (gross) in India, and Rs176 crore (gross) overseas. This brings the earnings to a grand total of Rs624 crore worldwide. The number is less than Rs80 crore short of the hallowed Rs700-crore mark set by PK. It is a tough task, but if Dangal manages to breach the Rs700-crore mark, it would be the second Aamir Khan film to do so. The film has one more week to rake in the money, as big releases like Raees and Kaabil are set to arrive in theatres in the last week of January
Whether it makes the mark or not, Khan has certainly proved who the master of the box-office is.
