Seeing him lying on his bed looking so calm can’t believe that one of our greatest actors #OmPuri is no more. Deeply saddened & shocked.

Shabana Azmi and Puri were the pioneers of the parallel cinema movement in Hindi cinema. They have worked together in a series of such films including, Sparsh (1980), Paar (1984), Albert Pinto Ko Gussa Kyun Aata Hai (1980), Dharavi (1992) and Mandi (1983).
Amitabh Bachchan has been Puri's co-star in Lakshya (2004), Dev (2004), Kyun! Ho Gaya Na (2004), Baabul (2006) and Delhi 6 (2009). The deceased actor gained stardom with Govind Nihalani's Ardha Satya (1983). He got the film after Bachchan refused it. Puri has mentioned in several interviews that he thanks Bachchan for refusing the film.âOm Puri! You have left us all too early.. i am so so sorry..The fun the laughter the arguments so vividly etched in my mind..Will miss you
