Akshay-Huma ‘Go Pagal’ playing Holi outside Lucknow court in Jolly LLB 2

From the first trailer of Subhash Kapoor’s Jolly LLB 2, it is evident that the makers’ intend to make this sequel into a commercial caper. This is seen more from its song ‘Go Pagal,’ which features the lead pair, Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi. 

The song is a typical Holi number where the lead actors along with a large group of dancers unabashedly indulge themselves on the festival. This includes throwing colours, splashing water, dancing and, like most Hindi films, the mandatory gulping down glasses of bhaang. Akshay has succeeded in displaying his energetic moves. Huma too adds a lot of charm. 

There is also some humour in store since the celebrations are taking place right outside the entrance of a Lucknow district court. It's probably intentional. It would be interesting to see how the scenario is justified in the film. 

‘Go Pagal’ is a peppy number but the lyrics don’t necessarily make it sound like a Holi song. The same can be said about Manj Musik’s music. It's ore of party number than a festive one. Raftaar’s vocals are as per the need. Nindy Kaur, the British Indian singer, has a soothing voice. 

Jolly LLB 2 is all set to release on 10 February 2017.
