Fans of Himesh Reshammiya's music are in for a surprise. The singer-composer unveiled a new track from his album 'Aap Se Mausiiquii'. Titled 'Trippy Song', it has atrocious lyrics and a hangover of 'Manali Trance' track from The Shaukeens (2014).

Reshammiya adds electronic beats to 'Trippy Song', in an attempt to probably appeal to the current generation smitten by electronic dance music. The song immediately takes the listener back to rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh's 'Manali Trance' song with similar beats and the lilting voice of Neha Kakkar. Kakkar had also sung the 'Manali Trance' song. Kiran Kamath adds her touch to 'Trippy Song'.
Lyricist Manoj Muntashir, who has previously penned the memorable 'Teri Galiyan' from Ek Villain (2014), came up with the lyrics of 'Trippy Song' and you wonder what brief he worked on to deliver the final result.
The saving grace of the track is Waluscha De Souza of Fan (2015) fame, who sizzles her way through the song.
No matter who likes the song or not, Salman Khan has given his thumbs up to it.
