Aishwarya’s father, Krishnaraj Rai, fell sick and was admitted immediately around a couple of weeks ago.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and their daughter, Aradhya Bachchan had been on a vacation to Dubai to celebate the New Year. But they had to cut short the holiday after Aishwarya’s father, Krishnaraj Rai fell sick and was admitted immediately. This happened a couple of weeks ago, but the news has surfaced now.
As soon as the three of them returned to Mumbai, Abhishek had to immediately leave for New York for some work commitments. Hence, he couldn’t be by his father-in-law and wife’s side in the initial period. As per reports, Aishwarya was looking after her father and Aradhya on her own. She also attended her child’s sports day in between her visits to the hospital. However, Abhishek too returned from New York before schedule.
A source told a portal, “Yes, he has been in hospital for the nearly two weeks. Aishwarya is taking care of him despite her being alone as Abhishek was in New York for work. He just got back. Recently at Aaradhya’s sports day, Aishwarya was seen cheering for the kids and her own daughter too. But simultaneously she was also keeping a tab on her dad’s health.”
What exactly happened to Krishnaraj is still under wraps.
