Both actors are making a film each on the Battle of Saragarhi, but their bonding in Jodhpur squashed any speculation of a rift.

Friendship is tested when two people have common business interests. A few weeks back, there were reports that Ajay Devgn was unhappy with Salman Khan over the latter’s decision to co-produce a film with a similar subject with his nemesis Karan Johar.

There was buzz that Devgn had sent a text to Khan expressing his feelings over the same premise of their films on the Battle of Saragarhi. As rumours of a rift were rife, Devgn and Khan met in Jodhpur, putting to rest these rumours. Devgn is in Jodhpur to shoot for Baadshaho, while Khan was visiting the city for a court hearing in connection with the black buck killing case. The two actors bonded on the sets of Baadshaho.

Director Milan Luthria had tweeted this picture saying two sultans were on the sets of Baadshaho.

According to reports, both Khan and Devgn are staying in the same hotel and Khan is said to have driven to the sets of Baadshaho after finishing his court commitments.

The Battle of Saragarhi has become an in-demand historical chapter with four films on the incident being lined up. A year ago, Devgn was the first to announce that his second Sons of Sardaar film would be based on the 1897 battle between British Indian Army and the Afghans in North West frontier province, now Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Khan and Johar have joined hands to produce a similar film with Akshay Kumar in the lead. Meanwhile, Raj Santoshi has announced his Battle of Saragarhi with Randeep Hooda, and JP Dutta, too, has evinced interest in the subject, but he’s yet to turn his dream into reality.

Devgn is expected to begin work on his version of the Battle of Saragarhi once he winds up Baadshaho and Golmaal 4.
