Fame and success does come at a price, they say. Rapper Badshah has reportedly been admitted to the hospital after going through back to back concerts and a rigorous shooting schedule. The composer and rapper was rushed to the Fortis Hospital on 22 January after he complained of breathlessness. The Kala Chashma composer was reportedly working on a non-stop schedule which led to his exhaustion and health problems.
The composer's fame and reputation have doubled in the industry recently, and he was reportedly working on a tight schedule travelling between Pune, Noida and Mumbai between 18 and 22 January for shows in the cities.
A source close to the singer was quoted by Mumbai Mirror saying, "Badshah was working constantly and travelled across cities for his professional commitments. He visited Pune on 18 January for a college show and then he went to Surat for a water park brand shoot. He stayed in Mumbai on January 20 and 21 and went to the shoot of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Dil Hai Hindustani. On 22 January, he again flew to Noida to attend the college programme organised by Symbiosis Centre for Management, Symbiosis International University. After he complained of breathlessness, Badshah was admitted to the hospital. He is under investigation and has been advised complete bed rest. His parents and management team are with him in the hospital."
The rapper's spokesperson said that Badshah had been admitted to the hospital and has been advised complete bed rest by the doctors. The composer has become one of the Hindi film industry's go to person with hits like 'Kar Gayi Chul', 'Kala Chashma', and 'The Breakup Song' to his name.
