Jolly LLB 2 song: 'Jolly Good Fellow' Akshay Kumar and Huma Qureshi have a blast

The 'Jolly Good Fellow' song from Jolly LLB 2 is here, and it is quite the opening number. With Akshay Kumar playing the wacky street lawyer with 'colourful swag' from Benaras, the first song, 'Jolly Good Fellow' is quite peppy.

Sung, and set to tune, by Meet Brothers, the song is a new take on the age old jingle 'He's A Jolly Good Fellow'. The song does add some pep and charm for Kumar's fans. If the tune of 'jolly good fellow' doesn't get you, the steps certainly will. 

The Meet Brothers' delivery of the song is perfectly in tune with the Khiladi Kumar's performance, and the signature step might get the fans following in style. The lyrics, written by Shabbir Ahmed, have a hummable Hinglish lilt to them.

A promotional song shot for the film, 'Jolly Good Fellow' is a colour riot with the whole shebang of dancers, lawyers and a plethora of extras. Even Huma Qureshi steps out of her usual staid look to add some glamour to the song. At one point, the video tips a hat to the Khiladi Kumar's previous hits like 'Hare Ram Hare Krishna' from Bhagam Bhag (2006), and OMG - Oh My God! (2012). 

Jolly LLB 2 is a sequel to the courtroom drama Jolly LLB, with Kumar playing the underdog lawyer fighting for justice. The film is directed by Subhash Kapoor, and also has Qureshi, Annu Kapoor and Saurabh Shukla in important roles. 

Jolly LLB 2 is set to be released on 10 February.
