‘Yeh Ishq Hai’ song: Kangana and Shahid get passionate in Rangoon

The first trailer of Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon clearly showed that the film is a wicked period drama. It also gave a glimpse of a wild moment between Kangana Ranaut and Shahid Kapoor. Their relationship is explored further in the song ‘Yeh Ishq Hai,’ which has been released now. 

Going by the video of the song, it seems Ranaut and Kapoor have kept their romance discreet in the film. But this is not stopping them from being bold and passionate in expressing their love for each other. They are shown making love not only indoors, but also in a rank open space amid mud. The two of them appear to have a sizzling chemistry.

Contrary to the trailer of the film, ‘Yeh Ishq Hai’ is a slow, soothing romantic number. Singer Arijit Singh has got truly involved with the recitation. His transition from lower pitch to very high pitch is effortless. Gulzar’s lyrics are a mixture of simplicity and rich Urdu. Bhardwaj, as a composer, hasn’t used too many tunes, which goes with the nature of the track.

Directed by Bhardwaj, Rangoon also stars Saif Ali Khan in a pivotal role. The film is all set to be released on 24 February.
