Priyanka Chopra wins People's Choice Awards 2017 for Favourite Dramatic TV Actress

This is the Quantico star's second consecutive PCA win.

Last year Priyanka Chopra became the first South Asian actress to win a People's Choice Award (Favourite Actress in a New TV Series) and this year she just became the only one to win two.

Chopra has won the People's Choice Award 2017 for the Favourite Dramatic TV Actress for Quantico. Jamie Chung and Adam Rodriguez presented her with the trophy.

Chopra's act as Alex Parrish has surely won millions of hearts and the actress is blowing up in the American entertainment industry, considering she won in one of the toughest categories.

The actress beat the likes of Ellen Pompeo (Grey's Anatomy), Kerry Washington (Scandal), Voila Davis (How To Get Away With Murder) and Taraji P Henson (Empire) to take home the trophy.

Receiving her award on stage, Chopra said, "Thank you to the people. This has been an incredible journey. Every single woman who was nominated with me today... all of these incredible actresses were the reason that I joined television. They were the reason why I wanted to be the actor that I am here today, receiving this award and being in the same category as them is so overwhelming. Thank you to all of you who have accepted me and loved my show. Thank you to Josh Safran, Mark Gordon, Nick Pepper... everyone who has been a part of Quantico and my wonderful cast. And to all of you who are going to watch Quantico on Monday now, which we love!"

Her Baywatch co-star Dwayne Johnson was seen cheering her on from the sidelines, saying, "Go PC."
