Looks like Deepika Padukone's Hollywood diary is well and truly booked, leading up to the Los Angeles premiere of xXx: Return Of Xander Cage. The actress shared pictures from the sets of The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

'This just happened... :)' wrote Deepika Padukone describing her experience on the show with the simplest of expressions. The 31-year-old actress recently attended the Golden Globes after-party, looking stunning in a yellow gown.
Padukone's close friend and designer Shaileen Nathani shared a picture of the entire team posing at the artist entry to the set. Padukone, dressed in a white chic suit, looks pretty chilled.

Interestingly, though her appearance is the beginning of what looks to be a promising turn at Hollywood, Padukone is walking the well-trodden path of Priyanka Chopra. Chopra was the first Indian actress to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and even downed some tequila shots with the host. What should get the fashion police interested is Padukone's choice of colour for the show, a white suit. Chopra also wore white on her appearance on the same show last year.
It must also be noted that Padukone chose to wear a long-sleeved, deep-cut golden gown to the India premiere of xXx: Return Of Xander Cage, which looked similar to Chopra's choice of a golden Ralph Lauren gown on the Golden Globes red carpet a few days before.
Padukone just took her big screen bow in Hollywood with the release of Vin Diesel's action flick, xXx: Return Of Xander Cage. The film starred Padukone as a lethal huntress, Serena Unger. Meanwhile, back home, the actress is set to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next period epic, Padmavati, along with Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
Things are starting to look up for Ms Padukone.
