Actor Salman Khan arrived in Jodhpur yesterday evening ahead of the important verdict in the illegal arms act case. A court in Jodhpur is expected to give its decision in some time today. The superstar was accompanied by his sister Alvira Khan and his legal team. He headed straight to a hotel.

As per latest reports, the actor entered the court some time ago and the security is tight around the court premises.

Salman is the main accused in the case where he is alleged to have killed an endangered species of a chinkara. He is also accused of possessing illegal arms. The other accused in the case are his fellow actors Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, Sonali Bendre and Neelam. They are accused of accompanying the Sultan actor.

The team of actors was shooting for Sooraj Barjatya’s Hum Saath Saath Hain (1998) in 1998 when the incident is alleged to have happened.

In today’s hearing, Salman is the only one from the cast expected to be present in court. The rest of the actors are summoned on 25 January when the verdict in the black buck case would be given.

Last year, the superstar was relieved from all charges in the infamous hit-and-run case of 2002.
