Chopra reportedly slipped and fell on her head during an action sequence on the sets of Quantico. She suffered a concussion and was immediately rushed to the ER. The injury was not considered serious, but the actress was advised to rest for a while by her doctors. While the show continued filming, her representative was quoted as saying the actress was "resting comfortably at home on doctors' orders, and will return to work after the weekend."
The actress had a very busy week scheduled ahead. She was scheduled to make an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel's show, and was supposed to shoot for it around the 19 January. The actress is also a nominee for Favourite Dramatic TV Actress at the People's Choice Awards, scheduled on 18 January. In addition, she still has to catch up with the shooting for Quantico that she has missed. Going by her tweets, the actress is yet to get back to full fitness, or work.
Here's hoping the tough as nails Chopra gets back on her feet soon.
