The ABC television network reported that Quantico star Priyanka Chopra is 'fine' and 'resting home comfortably' after being injured on the sets of the television series on Thursday.

The network termed it a minor incident, but reports online suggest that Chopra suffered a concussion and was rushed to the ER for treatment during the filming of the New York based show. The actress reportedly slipped and hit her head while performing a stunt, resulting in a concussion. She was rushed to the ER. Reports quoted her spokesperson saying, "Priyanka was immediately taken to the hospital, examined by a doctor and released. She will resume work after the weekend."  The Bajirao Mastani actress has quickly become the darling of the foreign press after the success of Quantico, and her stunning red carpet appearances.

The actress was inconspicuously missing from a media event to promote the show on Friday, which piqued the curiosity of the media. The eventual revelation suggests that the injury is not serious, and Chopra is expected to be back in action in a couple of days.

The actress has been involved in some serious stunts for the television series, now in its second season, as she plays the FBI official Alex Parrish pulled into a conspiracy. Neither is it the first time that Chopra has suffered an injury from a stunt mishap. The actress suffered a laceration under her eye during the shoot of Mary Kom (2014).

Considering the rising popularity of Chopra, it is no wonder that the media and fans have taken to the social networks wishing her good health. Even her co-star, Yasmine Al Massri from Quantico shared a video online with the crew and fans wishing Chopra to get well soon.

The actress is set to make her big-screen debut in Hollywood with Baywatch, alongside Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
