The first trailer of Eros Now's celebrity expedition to the Sino-Indian border has Arjun Rampal, Arunoday Singh, Rannvijay Singha and six others battling health hazards, the weather, and uninhabitable terrain in their tribute to the Indian army.

The first trailer of Eros Now's first celebrity expedition to Siachen, Salute Siachen, is out. Touted as India's first celebrity expedition to the dangerous and rarefied climes of the Siachen glacier, the series features a motley group of celebrities and sportspersons paying tribute to the courageous soldiers guarding the area.

While the teaser and promos were released in October 2015, the arrival of the trailer has finally shed light on the nature of the expedition. The show is intended to be a tribute to the Indian army for guarding such a difficult terrain for more than three decades. The respect for the armed forces only grows as you watch Arjun Rampal, Rannvijay Singha, cricketer RP Singh, Arunoday Singh, adventure enthusiast Namratha Gujaran, Sonalli Seygall, hockey champion Yuvraj Walmiki, director Shlok Sharma, and Hasan Zaidi battle blood pressure, fatigue and deadly cold to make the trip. The series will feature each participant's story about his/her journey and experience with Siachen.

The chilly white topography of Siachen only adds to the awesomeness of the trailer. At one point, Rampal says, "Half of our crew has already headed back, and we might have to," defining the hardship of the entire expedition.

The trailer does offer adrenalin junkies a chance to savour the journey of these nine individuals as they struggle to scale the dangerous but exciting terrain along the Sino-Indian border.

The series is expected to be released on 15 January to commemorate Army Day.
