Teaser: Shah Rukh, Priyanka, Ranveer, Sunny Leone shoot for Dabboo Ratnani's 2017 calendar

He's the only one fit to be called the resident shutter bug of the Hindi film industry. Stars don't forget to book their dates with photographer Dabboo Ratnani in the period between Christmas and New Year. 2017 will see a plethora of stars, both young and old, who posed for Ratnani’s annual calendar. Some stars also posed with Ratnani's children. 

Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan, Arjun Rampal, Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vidya Balan have been regulars on Ratnani's  calendar. This year Alia Bhatt, Disha Patani, Tiger Shroff and Sunny Leone have found their way into it.

Ratnani posted a 10-minute behind-the-scene teaser of the upcoming calendar. The most eye-catching picture is that of Patani who has perhaps gone topless for the shoot, a claim she has denied.

"This was Daboo’s concept. You have only seen my back and thus you will not understand. We took about an hour to shoot this picture," Patani told Amar Ujala website.

As opposed to the usual trend of showering praise on Ratnani, the stars took cheeky digs at the ace shutter bug. 

"This is the time when Dabboo looms large. This time again I was being exploited by Manisha (Dabboo’s wife). I am going to sue her one of these days for physical abuse and harassment. Next year, I’m going to expose this couple for what they actually they are. They are real perverts," Shah Rukh Khan said jokingly.

"In sickness or health, we’re going to shoot for his calendar," added Anushka Sharma.

Abhishek described shooting for Ratnani’s calendar as a bad cold, while Parineeti Chopra said that one can’t go on a Christmas-New Year vacation till you shoot for Ratnani's calendar.

The usually gentle Farhan Akhtar revealed the wild side to him by biting Ratnani on his shoulder.  

The debutants were excited, while Leone did not hesitate to say that she turned up in the middle of the night at Ratnani’s doorstep and did not leave till he photographed her. Bhatt, Shroff and Patani thanked Ratnani for having them in his calendar.

Sanjay Dutt is making a return to the calendar after eight long years. The Munnabhai actor has shot a wild theme. Meanwhile, Priyanka felt that the calendar had become a Christmas ritual, while Vidya Balan called it her lucky charm.
