Watch video: More of Priyanka Chopra and her voice in Baywatch Hindi trailer

There was high anticipation in India for the first trailer of the upcoming film, Baywatch since it marks the Hollywood debut of Priyanka Chopra. Unfortunately, her fans were disappointed to see her just for a fraction of a second. 

But now, she gets more footage in the Hindi trailer of the film, which has been released. Although she doesn’t play a major part in it, her character has got some prominence in it. She plays the antagonist named Victoria Leeds, the owner of a club. From the trailer, we come to know that her character is responsible for crimes like murder and drugs. 

The film tells the story of a group of glamorous lifeguards on a beach headed by Dwayne Johnson’s character. How they are involved in a game of crime forms the rest of the story. 

From the trailer, it seems the film has good action and thrill elements. Some stunts are impressive, which is expected from a Hollywood film of today’s era. They have also included some punchlines which provide humour. And the Hindi dubbing also adds unintentional laughter.

There are cuss words in the English trailer, but they don’t find a place here at all. This might be a tactic to make the trailer more audience-friendly in India. 

Being a Hindi film actress, Chopra has herself dubbed for her part. This will go well with the Indian audience since her voice is recognisable. 

The only drawback here is the length of the trailer which is very small at one minute 27 seconds. 

Directed by Seth Gordon, Baywatch is all set to release on 26 may 2017.
