The first dialogue promo for Rangoon is out, and it is intriguing, to say the least. Set in the midst of World War II, Vishal Bhardwaj's film has already got fans raving. The latest dialogue promo adds to the intrigue by focusing on the fear of Shahid Kapoor's character.
Part of a conversation between Kangana Ranaut's Julia and Kapoor's Subedar Nawab Malik, the promo adds a touch of vulnerability to Kapoor's tough-soldier act. When Julia asks Subedar Nawab Malik to tell her something no one else knows, Malik replies "Main bahut darta hoon [I get scared easily]", before completing it with "Mohabbat se [of love]".
The dialogue establishes the mercurial love between Julia and the soldier, and also focuses attention on the backdrop of war in which these individuals are trapped.
Rangoon is directed by Bhardwaj and also stars Saif Ali Khan. The film is set to be released in theatres on 24 February.
