Priyanka Chopra shares her love for Phillauri producer Anushka Sharma on Twitter

The actress-turned-producers' club is getting bigger. Priyanka Chopra just gave the biggest compliment to Anushka Sharma after watching the trailer of her latest film, Phillauri. The Quantico actress complimented Sharma on her work as 'producer and actor'. 

Tweeting on her account, Chopra wrote, 'Congratulations @AnushkaSharma #PhillauriTrailer looks wonderful. So nice to see you roll out such amazing work as a producer and an actor.' 

Chopra should know something about choosing films as producer, having made her second film as producer with the 2016 Marathi hit, Ventilator. The film was a critical and commercial success. Priyanka also produced two films in 2016, Bam Bam Bol Raha Hai Kashi in Bhojpuri and Sarvann in Punjabi.

Phillauri will be Sharma's second film as producer. NH10 (2015) was her debut as a producer. While NH10's dark, gritty tale earned her critical acclaim, Phillauri's light hearted comedy is starting to mark out Sharma as an intelligent producer and actor. 

Evidently, Chopra's praise was noted by Anushka Sharma, who tweeted back her thanks.

While the mutual appreciation is a good sign, the emergence of the Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) co-stars as producers also signals a time of change in the Hindi film industry.
