Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai's first trailer just came out, and it is about as promising as the actors in it. With Arbaaz Khan, Ashutosh Rana, Prem Chopra, Manjari Phadnis and Himanshu Kohli leading the cast, the trailer looks like a mish-mash of plotlines and some mediocre acting.
From the trailer, the film looks to be the story of Esha, who is aspiring to be a journalist on her way to success. It opens with a tribute to her organised in USA, in front of the 'Dye House', which looks like the White House. Khan and Rana play the two smitten suitors who Fadnis escapes on her way to success. Kohli looks to be playing the supportive boyfriend with little expression.
If the poor narration of Urdu poetry were not enough, the trailer is marred by the presence of too many characters and plotlines appearing on screen simultaneously. Although, there is the saving grace of watching Rana tackle a tiger Baahubali-style towards the end of the trailer. Khan marks his return to the screen in a film other than the Dabangg franchise but does not make an impact in the trailer.
The film is produced by Bibia Films, and is directed by Keshav Panneriy. The film is set for a 3 March release.
