The shooting of Kabir Khan’s Tubelight was wrapped up yesterday. The filmmaker took to his Instagram page to share the news. The last schedule didn’t have the film’s lead actor Salman Khan though. It seems the actor had wrapped up his part of the film earlier.

Tubelight has been in the news ever since it was announced. It brings back the blockbuster pair of Kabir and Salman after Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015), and there have been a number of highlights from the shoot of the film.

Here are six such interesting moments during the filming of Tubelight.

Salman plays a special needs character in the film. This moment from the shoot where he displays his innocence while being surrounded by a group of kids melted a lot of hearts when it came out.

Tubelight marks the Hindi film debut of Chinese actress, Zhu Zhu. She has been cast as Salman's love interest. This is the first time that a Chinese actress is working as a lead in a Hindi film.

Salman and Kabir’s last film, Bajrangi Bhaijaan featured the super cute child actress Harshali Malhotra. Now, Tubelight will feature another kid named, Matin Rey Tangu. Recently, pictures of the child actor with Salman went viral on social media.

Veteran actor Om Puri passed away right at the start of 2017. The last film he shot was Tubelight. An emotional Kabir Khan offered his condolences by sharing a picture of the late actor during the shoot. Puri also had an interesting appearance in Bajrangi Bhaijaan.

Another reason why Tubelight is keenly looked forward to is because Shah Rukh Khan will be playing a cameo in it. He will be seen sharing screen with Salman for the first time after Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam, which released in 2002. Kabir shared a picture of him and SRK during the shoot and revealed that the King Khan used to share notes with him during college.

Kabir surprised his Instagram followers last month when he shared a picture of the call sheet of the day that SRK and Salman shot together. Interestingly, it had a dialogue of their 1995 hit Karan Arjun written on it – Aayenge, mere Karan Arjun aayenge. Zameen ki chhati faad ke aayenge. Aasmaan ka seena cheer ke aayenge.

Salman’s picture with a group of monks made many heads turn. He posed with a group of them during the film’s shoot in Manali.
