Varun Dhawan goes 'good boy' and 'bad boy' in Judwaa 2 first poster

The first poster from David Dhawan's remake of the '90s hit comedy, Judwa, is out, with Varun Dhawan looking the part of two extreme lead heroes of a wacky film.

He might not have the swag of Salman 'Bhai' Khan, but Varun Dhawan can certainly do charming. The actor looks the part, twice over, in the latest poster of the remake of Salman Khan's hit, Judwaa 2. The film, directed by David Dhawan, will see Varun play the twin roles of Prem and Raja separated at birth, but united in their actions.

Considering it is a comedy featuring twins, Dhawan's characters embody two wildly different personalities from the looks of it. Just like the first installment, one is sophisticated, gentle and suave, and the other looks as wild as a rockstar, and quite the roguish charmer. At the recent press conference, Varun spoke about the comparisons to the original saying, "It is quite unfair to compare. Judwaa 2 is a great opportunity for me and I wouldn’t be able to do it without these two (Sajid Nadiadwala and David Dhawan). I am trying to create two fresh characters with the double role I have in the film. As an actor, when I do films, and I do it for my audience, eventually I want people to enter the cinema halls, and laugh, and be entertained. Both characters are my favourite."

Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu come in to replace Rambha and Karisma Kapoor from the original film.

Judwaa 2 has just gone on the floors, and is scheduled for a theatrical release in September.
