It is unusual for a filmmaker to release a song a week after the particular film has released. This is just what happened as Raees makers have released a sombre 'Saanson Ke' today, even as Shah Rukh Khan is travelling across the country thanking fans.

The soothing voice of KK elevates the emotional effect of the song, and makes it one you can get lost in. Writer Manoj Yadav has penned a simple ballad, picturised on the good and bad times of Raees (Shah Rukh Khan) and Aasiya (Mahira Khan). Musician Aheer for JAM8, (as he's called) has matched Yadav’s lyrics with equally heart-warming music.

Shah Rukh and Mahira's intense sadness is enough to move you dearly. The song was briefly shown in the climax scene of Raees. That explains why the makers didn't release this track before. 'Laila Main Laila' and 'Saanson Ke' are the two standout numbers from Raees.
