It's not often that Karan Johar is left stumped on his own show Koffee With Karan. Though not surprised, viewers were taken aback when Kangana Ranaut didn’t hesitate to mention that if she wrote a biography then she would have Johar write a chapter on nepotism.
The Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016) director was left flabbergasted with Ranaut’s daring statements. Johar had a live Twitter interaction with fans recently, where he was asked about Ranaut’s stinging remarks on the show.
One netizen clearly asked Johar, “Was Kangana right about nepotism?”

Johar replied, “Not entirely! She made an impact with her sweeping statements! That was fun... for her! And the show”

When another Twitter user asked Johar if he was obsessed with star kids, the filmmaker merely said, "Ask Kangana".

The nepotism allegation keeps following Johar given how he has launched stars kids like Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and will soon launch Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's daughter Sara Ali Khan.
In another disclosure, Johar was asked to name one film which he would have loved to direct, and the filmmaker didn’t hesitate in saying Aamir Khan’s Dangal. Johar also revealed his relationship status in the Twitter chat.
