The festival of Maha Shivaratri is being celebrated today by millions of devotees of Shiva. So it is obvious that social media will be filled with messages pertaining to the festival. But twitterati got a pleasant surprise when filmmaker SS Rajamouli wished his followers by sharing a new poster of his hugely awaited Baahubali: The Conclusion.
The poster has a stunning image of Prabhas, the lead actor, in an aggressive pose atop a caparisoned elephant. Rajamouli shared three posters in Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. He captioned them, “Saahore Baahubali..... Happy Maha Shivaratri.. #Baahubali2 #WKKB.”
Soon enough, he came up with the motion poster of the film. It is a video image of the same poster. The vision, background score and Daler Mehndi’s rendition of the title song ‘Saahore Baahubali’ are expected to increase anticipation for the sequel. The temples and structures in the background are also overpowering.
The first motion poster of the film was released at last year’s MAMI (Mumbai Academy of the Moving Image) festival in Mumbai by Rajamouli and the cast, Prabhas, Tamannaah Bhatia and Anushka Shetty.
Baahubali: The Conclusion is all set to be released on 28 April.
