Looks revealed: Meet Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay and Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt

The excitement for the Sanjay Dutt biopic helmed by Rajkumar Hirani went a notch higher as the makers have revealed images of Ranbir Kapoor from the film's sets. The images that surfaced on social media show the actor sporting long hair. Dressed in a black blazer, maroon shirt and black trousers, he is seen with a wide smile. Going by Kapoor's looks, it seems he is currently shooting as the younger Sanjay.

Apart from Kapoor, veteran actor Paresh Rawal's look was also released. Rawal is playing Sunil Dutt, Sanjay’s father. His look has been meticulously planned and the effect is for all to see.

There is great anticipation for the biopic. Sanjay has led an interesting life with many newsworthy events, and the fact that Hirani is directing the film has added to the eagerness.

The filmmaker has so far made four films — Munna Bhai MBBS (2003), Lage Raho Munna Bhai (2006), 3 Idiots (2009) and PK (2014) — and all have achieved critical, as well as major box office success.  

There are reports that the film will release during Christmas this year. But there hasn’t been any official announcement so far.
